The Love of the Game was formed by Shooting Coach Dave Love in 2001. Over the years The Love of the Game has evolved into one of the country’s top basketball clinics for young players looking to improve their shooting.
Coach Love has worked as a Shooting Consultant to the Phoenix Suns, an Assistant Coach at an Oklahoma City Thunder free agent camp, as well as a coach or consultant to countless university, college, club, and provincial teams in Canada. Dave has earned his reputation as one of Canada’s top shooting coaches.
This blog will provide players, coaches, and parents access to Coach Love’s shooting theories, skills, drills, tips, as well as some stories of the experiences he’s had in his travels helping players improve.
